Supermarkt einkaufen, während Melanie und Hanna zum Invergyl Apartment (https://www.booking.com/hotel/gb/invergyle-uk40566.de.html) im pittoresken Falkland fuhren.
Dort gab es 2 Schlafzimmer… Wie teilen wir das auf? - Es herrschte fliegender
Wechsel... etwas war immer!
Aline and I went shopping at a larger supermarket, while Melanie and Hanna drove to the Invergyle Apartment (https://www.booking.com/hotel/gb/invergyle-uk40566.de.html) in quaint Falkland. There were two bedrooms... How are we going to share them? - There was a constant rotation... always something going on!

Das Wetter war eher auf der gegnerischen Seite aber
der Lomond Hill lockte, seit wir hier zugefahren waren... am Samstagtagmorgen
sah es gar nicht mal so schlecht aus und Hannah begleitete mich den 448 m hohen
Hügel hinauf und wieder hinunter… manchmal sogar joggend! - Wow, was für eine fitte
fünfjährige Enkelin ich habe! : ))
The weather wasn't exactly cooperating, but Lomond Hill had been calling to me ever since we'd driven up here... Saturday morning it didn't look too bad at all and Hannah accompanied me up and down the 448-meter-high hill... sometimes even jogging! - Wow, what a fit five-year-old granddaughter I have! : ))

Am Sonntag fuhren wir eine halbe Stunde Richtung
Westen nach St. Andrews. Das St. Andrews Aquarium (https://www.standrewsaquarium.co.uk) war ideal im Regen! Da wir
schon mal an der Küste waren und ein Restaurant fanden, das Hummer serviert,
genossen wir genau diesen im Dune (https://www.dune-standrews.co.uk).
On Sunday, we drove half an hour west to St. Andrews. The St. Andrews Aquarium (https://www.standrewsaquarium.co.uk) was perfect for the rain! Since we were already on the coast and found a restaurant serving lobster, we enjoyed it at Dune (https://www.dune-standrews.co.uk).

Unsere letzte gemeinsame Etappe nahmen wir am
Montag unter die Räder… Mit zwei Autos ging es 100 km Richtung Norden in die
Nähe des Flughafens von Edinburgh. Melanie, Hannah und Aline würden am Dienstag
zurück in die Schweiz fliegen... : ( Da wir schon um 10 Uhr auschecken mussten,
fuhren wir zum nächsten Ort Kinross, wo wir im Unorthodox Roasters (https://www.unorthodoxroasters.co.uk) ein eben solches Frühstück und
einen Spaziergang am Loch Leven genossen.
Our last leg of the journey together took place on Monday... We drove 100 km north in two cars to the vicinity of Edinburgh Airport. Melanie, Hannah, and Aline were to fly back to Switzerland on Tuesday... : ( Since we had to check out at 10 am, we drove to the next town Kinross, where we enjoyed a hearty breakfast at Unorthodox Roasters (https://www.unorthodoxroasters.co.uk) and a walk along Loch Leven.
