Ja, ich war glücklich von Aboyne wegzukommen... genau gesagt vom Garden Glamping Studio (https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/3078848), wo ich mich überhaupt nicht wohl fühlte und meine Haut prompt mit einem hartnäckigen Ausschlag reagierte... nur noch ab ans Meer, wo ich hoffentlich Geborgenheit und Entspannung finde... und mich erhole...

Es waren nur 100 km Richtung Norden und unterwegs boten sich viele Stopps: Dess Waterfall, Ring of Lumphalan, Corse Castle, Craigievar Castle, Ardlair Stone Circle und eine Bäckerei in Alford. Von dort war es noch einmal 1 Stunde bis nach Banff und MacDuff an der Küste.

I was off to the seaside, where I hoped to find peace and relaxation... and recover...

It was only 100 km north, and there were plenty of places to stop along the way: Dess Waterfall, the Ring of Lumphalan, Corse Castle, Craigievar Castle, Ardlair Stone Circle and a bakery in Alford. From there, it was another hour to Banff and MacDuff on the coast.

Hier in der Nähe war ich vor 3 Wochen schon mit meiner Tochter und Enkelinnen in Lossiemouth... also kannte ich die Region einigermassen. Im Moment hatte ich jedoch eh keine grosse Lust auf Exkursionen - alles, wonach ich mich sehnte war: einfach nur sein... mich wohl fühlen... und erholen...

I was in the area about three 3 ago with my daughter and granddaughters in Lossiemouth... so I was somewhat familiar with the region. At the moment, I wasn't really in the mood for excursions anyway - all I longed for was to simply be... to feel good... and relax...

Und dazu schien der Ort und die Zeit perfekt: Das Wetter war meistens sonnig und an 2 Tagen sogar richtig heiss: 28 Grad! - Klar, dass ich diese Tage am Strand verbrachte! : ))

And the place and the timing seemed perfect for that: The weather was mostly sunny, and on two days it was even really hot: 28 degrees Celsius! Of course, I spent those days on the beach! : )
